4a Data Sourcing and Platform Integrity
Trĩb obtains product information, pricing, and availability data exclusively through authorized sources, including retailer-approved APIs and licensed data feeds. Trĩb does not scrape, spider, or use automated extraction tools to collect data directly from retailer websites, and such practices are expressly prohibited under the terms of each retailer affiliate program in which Trĩb participates.*
Users and third parties are similarly prohibited from scraping, spidering, or using automated tools to extract data from the Trĩb Site. This includes but is not limited to:*
Trĩb reserves the right to block, restrict, or take legal action against any party that engages in unauthorized data extraction from the Site, regardless of the method used.
This section applies to both human and automated access and is not limited to technical circumvention. Accessing the Site at a rate or in a manner inconsistent with normal human browsing, or using tools designed to systematically collect Site content, constitutes a violation of these Terms regardless of whether technical access controls are bypassed.
You may be able to submit content on Trĩb, including forum posts, comments, stories, or reviews (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by posting or submitting User Content, you grant Trĩb a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt that content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Site.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring it does not violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

Moderation decisions are made at Trĩb’s discretion. Trĩb reserves the right to take action it deems appropriate to protect the community, even if a situation is not explicitly addressed in these Terms or related policies.
All content on the Site, excluding User Content, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and design, is the property of Trĩb or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use consistent with these Terms.
Retailer and Product Images Product images displayed on the Site are sourced only through authorized channels, including retailer-approved APIs, licensed manufacturer assets, or royalty-free image sources. Trĩb does not download, scrape, or locally cache product images directly from retailer websites. Images sourced through the affiliate data API are used in accordance with Product Advertising Content guidelines and are served in compliance with caching and display rules. Trĩb does not claim ownership of any retailer or manufacturer product images displayed on the Site. Where product images are provided by manufacturers or third-party licensors, Trĩb maintains documentation of the applicable license or permission. Images on this Site may be representative and may not be exact depictions of the product. Packaging, design, and product details may vary. Please refer to the retailer’s site for the most accurate product information.
Retailer Trademarks and Brand Assets The names, logos, trademarks, and brand assets of Walmart, Target, and any other retailer referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners. Trĩb uses retailer names and identifiers solely for the purpose of identifying the source of products and pricing in comparison content, which constitutes nominative fair use.
Trĩb does not use retailer logos or brand assets on the Site without express authorization under the applicable affiliate program guidelines. Where retailer logos are displayed, they are used only in the form and manner approved by each retailer’s affiliate program and are not altered, distorted, combined with other marks, or displayed in a way that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or official partnership.
Specifically:
Retailer names used in comparison headings, buttons, and navigation labels (such as ‘View on Walmart’ or ‘Check price at Target’) are used descriptively and do not constitute trademark infringement or implied endorsement.
Nothing on this Site should be construed as suggesting that any retailer has reviewed, approved, endorsed, or sponsored Trĩb’s content, product selections, or recommendations.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services, including affiliate links. Trĩb may earn commissions or other compensation from qualifying purchases or actions completed through such links.
These third parties are independent of Trĩb, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, practices, products, or services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you choose to visit.
Trĩb is not responsible for any transactions, purchases, product fulfillment, shipping, returns, warranties, or customer service provided by third-party retailers or service providers. Any issues or disputes must be resolved directly with the applicable third party.
Retailer logos, trademarks, and brand assets displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used only in accordance with applicable law and retailer affiliate program requirements. Participation in an affiliate program does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or approval of Trĩb by any retailer unless expressly stated. Trĩb does not obtain retailer product data, pricing, or images through unauthorized scraping, spidering, or other prohibited means. Retailer data displayed on the Site is obtained through authorized APIs, approved data feeds, or other methods permitted by the applicable retailer or affiliate program.
Trĩb’s affiliate disclosure obligations apply across all channels through which affiliate links are shared, including the Site, social media platforms, email newsletters, and other distribution channels. Where affiliate links are presented, Trĩb will provide clear and conspicuous disclosures before or at the point where the affiliate link, retailer module, comparison block, or other monetized content appears, in accordance with applicable laws, FTC endorsement guidelines, and affiliate program requirements.
Affiliate disclosures are displayed at the page level adjacent to the first retailer module, comparison block, or other monetized content on pages where affiliate links appear. Additional disclosure information may also be provided site-wide in the footer for transparency and convenience.

Although Trĩb uses reasonable efforts to maintain current information and to update or remove featured deals, promotional content, and retailer-specific offers when it becomes aware that such information has materially changed or expired, information displayed on the Site may not always reflect current retailer information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trĩb and its founders, partners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed the amount (if any) you paid to Trĩb for use of the Site in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
